THE SUN: STAR WARS

The brief was to link The Sun's brand to the release of the newest Star Wars film: The Force Awakens.

I knew this was a huge opportunity to use a globally renowned franchise to help push the paper onto a larger online audience, so I came up with the idea of creating Sun front pages as if telling the story in the the Star Wars universe. The editor and marketing department went for the idea and we got our best writers to create great headlines, then my team created the front pages over a couple of days.

The front pages were a huge success, going viral and are now all over the web.
